What is HairVeda Herbal Hair Oil?

HairVeda Herbal Hair Oil is an Ayurvedic hair oil from The Body Chakra. This 100 ml bottle brings together three classical keshya (hair-loving) herbs — Bhringraj (Eclipta alba), Amla (Phyllanthus emblica) and Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) — in a traditional sesame (til) oil base for a weekly champi ritual that helps nourish the scalp and hair roots.

How to use

1. Warm the bottle slightly in a bowl of warm (not hot) water for 2–3 minutes.
2. Part dry hair into 4–6 sections.
3. Apply a little oil along each parting. About a teaspoon is enough for shoulder-length hair.
4. Massage with fingertips in slow circles for 5–10 minutes.
5. Leave on for at least 2 hours, or overnight (use a dark pillow cover or towel).
6. Wash with a gentle cleanser such as HairVeda Natural Hair Cleanser. Two washes may be needed after overnight oiling.
7. Traditionally done 2–3 times a week. Patch-test behind the ear 24 hours before your first champi.
